February 12, 2024, Muncie, IN – Seasoned team member, Cheryl Crabtree, has been named Muncie Branch Manager at Jay-Crew.
Cheryl, who previously served as a Senior Account Manager, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to her new position. Cheryl’s journey with Jay-Crew began nearly nine years ago, in September of 2015, when she joined the company full-time after graduating from Ball State University. However, her connection with the company dates back even further, as she spent a summer working on a crew in 2012 between semesters at Ball State, which ultimately sparked her interest in pursuing a career with Jay-Crew.
Her new responsibilities encompass a scope of activities including oversight of production and account management, and supporting a collaborative work environment for her team. Regarding her excitement for the new position, Cheryl expressed, “I’m incredibly excited about the new opportunities and challenges that come with my new role. One of the things that excites me the most is the chance to lead and inspire a dedicated team. I’m eager to have a platform to implement new strategies that will contribute to the growth and success of our team and branch.”
Cheryl’s journey with the company has allowed her to have a comprehensive understanding of Jay-Crew’s operations from the ground up with notable involvement in implementing their extensive software system in 2016. Additionally, Cheryl will soon finish her pursuit of the Landscape Industry Certified Manager certification from the National Association of Landscape Professionals.
Outside of work Cheryl enjoys many outdoor activities including boating, traveling to National Parks, and spending lots of time with family.
