April 18, 2011 – Work is under way on an exciting project for Open Door Health Services of Muncie. Open Door is a not-for-profit Health Center that acts as the safety net for the uninsured and under-insured of East Central Indiana.
Jay-Crew provided design and installation services for the project, which includes Landscaping, Sod, Mulch, Landscape Lighting, and Irrigation. In addition, Jay-Crew will be installing a Green Roof, helping the building stay cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, and reducing energy costs.
The Green Roof for Open Door is one of the earliest Green Roofs installed in Muncie. Jay-Crew also installed the Green Roof on the South Tower at I.U. Health/Ball Hospital. That project, the largest of its kind in Indiana at the time, measures over 23,000 Sq. ft. The Open Door project is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2011. Contact Us to learn more.
